Symba EdVentures Child and Adult Workshops are designed to tap into the rich imagery of the imagination, activate all the senses and bring dreams, ideas, personal stories and visions to life. Our arts-integrated workshops utilize poetry, creative writing, maskmaking, storytelling, improvisation, movement, music, traditional and non-traditional art forms, architecture, brainstorming, critical thinking, journaling and reflection to fully engage participants in the creative process to joyfully liberate the artist within.

At Symba, particular emphasis is placed on exploring world cultures sensitively and skillfully with the hope of broadening our participants’ understanding, knowledge, acceptance and appreciation of the remarkable ways people across the earth express their values and traditions. We feel the arts offer important bridges to deeply connect with our global family. Symba provides a field of meeting where young and old, people of diverse backgrounds, can come together to share and celebrate traditions that sustain and nurture us as a world community and feed the human spirit.
